Moroccan Rhassoul Clay is mined in the fruitful Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for over 12 centuries by population in North Africa, Southern Europe and Middle East. It is very rich in minerals and it is an exceptional ingredient in skin care and hair care. 

This clay contains silicon, Magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium, lithium, and trace elements. Therefore, when used as a facial clay mask it is one of the best natural treatments for oily, dry, dull or acne-prone skin. It aids in rejuvenation, detoxification and toning of the skin. Studies have shown that it is reputed to reduce dryness and flakiness, improve skin clarity and elasticity.

The Ritual  

Mix 1/2 tablespoon of the clay powder to 1-2 tablespoon of filtered water in a bowl. Wait about 1-2 minutes for the clay to self-hydrate without stirring. It will fully absorb the water and leave a mousse-like consistency. For a thinner paste, add more water a little bit at a time. 

For dry and sensitive skins:  Add a few drops of our Chamellia Everlast Serum to the Rhassoul clay face mask mixture. Apply to the face and leave on for about 5-10 minutes, never letting it dry out. You can re-apply some water on your face in order to re-dampen the clay, thus being able to leave it on for a longer duration of time. Wash off the clay mask with warm water.
